Emily advises political, advocacy and corporate clients on communication strategy and public affairs outreach. Through strategic planning, Emily works with clients to ensure their message is precise and targeted to the right audience, at the right time.
Prior to joining TBG, Emily worked with various public and private sector clients to help achieve their advocacy goals. In doing so, Emily created a bacon vending machine that went viral online and was featured on Fox News, the Associated Press and several international outlets. In the week the machine was in use, Emily charted more than 1,100 positive news stories and more than 6,500 social media mentions for the client. Emily has worked with Fortune 500 companies, including Ford Motor Company and Bank of America, on their local media and influencer outreach.
Emily’s career began in communications roles within the Michigan political industry. Through these roles, Emily worked with elected officials and candidates to sharpen their message and ensure the appropriate communications strategy throughout the campaign.
Emily graduated from Michigan State University and currently resides in Grand Haven, Michigan.
